The first weekend of March we had a surprise baby shower for our friend Emily. She had NO idea her sister was coming from Colorado and surprised her in the middle of an ordinary Friday afternoon. We met in Leavenworth and surprised her with her mother-in-law and two other friends. We had gorgeous weather, delicious food, great conversation. Can't wait to meet that little baby!
Snowshoeing at our church's women's retreat in February. We only had one or two falls. The theme of the retreat was prayer. I learned a lot, laughed A LOT, got way too little sleep, got to know some new people, and even had my earliest snowshoe date: 6am!
The kids took a few pictures.
Travis and I went to McCall for a mid-week, adult only vacation. We skied/snowboarded at Brundage, ate yummy food, sampled some local beer, went to sleep early and got up late, snowshoed at Ponderosa State Park, read books, listened to NPR in the car. We needed a post-basketball season and pre-spring work get away.
Anna is LOVING basketball. She plays at every recess at school. We went to Spokane this weekend to say TTFN to Uncle Ben (who's moving to New Orleans for a few months) and she played in the pouring rain for at least an hour.
Trying to get a picture with all three kids proved difficult.
