Anna's grade school holds an annual Science Fair. This year Anna posed the question: What surface in the house has the most germs? To find this out we swabbed each surface with a q-tip, rubbed the q-tip on a piece of bread, sprayed the bread with 20 squirts of tap water, put each piece of bread in a sandwich bag and waited. Sadly, the science fair came and went with no growth on any of the pieces of bread.We held onto the bread and today, about fourteen days later, we discovered that the door handle for the outside door was the germiest surface in the house. We also tested a pen, the phone, bathroom sink, and had a control sample.
